Three and a Half Feet Deep
30x24 inches - Oil paints on canvas
We often surrender our control too quickly, allowing shallow obstacles to consume us. Sometimes, we can feel like we’re drowning out of control when, really, the water is only three and a half feet deep. It's not too late to take control.

Unwritten Fate
20x18 inches - Watercolored paints and colored pencils on multimedia paper
This was a fun experimentation of multimedia and colors. The composition is a recreation of a Cristian Blanxer artwork. It conveys a strong tension that leaves you suspended in your own thoughts.

To Love and Smile Again
20x16 inches - Oil paints on canvas
After my cross country race, I drew a heart and smiley face on the window, and it reminded my of being little again. I painted this as a reminder that we may grow up, but you should never give up on your inner child.

Lion and Butterfly Wall Mural
Estimated 80x45 inches - Acrylic paints on wall
I organized the painting of this mural at Lomarena Elementary School to bring my art into the community. After communicating with the principal and explaining my design concept, my friend helped paint the lion face and butterfly with me.

Met With Empty Space
40x30 inches - Oil paints on canvas
The inspiration for this piece came from my struggle to connect with my culture. So, as an artist, I painted what my mind looks like when I think about connecting with my cultural ties. However, even though it may be a stressful search for connection, I painted the background blue to show that these pressures only exist in my own thoughts.

My Teddy Bear
17x15 inches (printed) - Digital drawing using kleki.com on touchscreen computer.
This was my first digital artwork! It's my childhood teddy bear in front of my childhood door. Even though I moved across the state after my childhood, I still have my teddy bear and my door, showing that objects contain important memories.

A Family Portrait
16x12 inches - Oil paints on canvas
My family has always been connected by athletics, but we're all different. This painting is a family portrait as if we were all representations of our own interests.

Drifting Existence
30x24 inches - Oil paints on canvas
This underwater artwork is about staying indifferent to your surroundings. Despite the pressures that consume you, you must stay resilient and calm.
